Mumbai attack mastermind Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi is likely to be detained in a house trespass case.
According to Dawn News, the case was registered with the Tarnol police on November 21, 2014, in response to a complaint filed by Noorul Rehman, a resident of Sara-i-Kharbooza, on November 10, 2014.
In the complaint, Rehman stated that his house was raided by some two dozen men claiming to be Taliban members.
Rehman said that while he managed to escape after scaling the wall of his house, the men threatened his sister and mother with dire consequences if he failed to withdraw cases filed by him against his rivals Farman and Farhat Nigar.
Rehman alleged that the attackers were sent by his rivals to kill him and his family.
A senior police officer said that the investigators had arrested two people in connection with the case filed by Rehman whose links were established with Lakhvi, the report added.
