A new survey has revealed that 75 percent of Brits will only have sex with the lights off with many confessing they do so to "save money on electricity.
Yesterday telly channel truTV, who condcuted the survey to launch new gameshow Total Blackout, showed that approximately 14 percent of the 2,000 people polled explained that they did so over fears their "sex face" would put off a partner, the Daily Star reported.
Spokesman Jane Mote said that being plunged into complete darkness can be a terrifying experience, their remaining senses are heightened and their imagination runs wild.
Mote added that in Total Blackout, the contestant's temporary loss of vision can be very unnerving and not an experience that they would look forward to going through again.
He added that the great British public rather enjoys seeing where their imagination might take them.
