Abdul Qadir says 'spin-strong' Pak facing 'stiff challenge' against Proteas in UAE series

Former Pakistani Test leg-spinner Abdul Qadir said that Pakistan will face a 'stiff challenge' in the two-Test series against South Africa despite spinning tracks and their formidable spin attack.

According to The Nation, Qadir believes that as South Africa is the world's best Test team, it would be a big challenge for Pakistan to beat them in the series, which will start in Abu Dhabi on Oct 14, despite the presence of spin-friendly tracks and Pakistan's strong spin attack.

Stating that South Africans are fighters to core, Qadir warned that they tourists will play with a lot of flair and their hallmark is their patriotic approach, adding that Pakistan's success in the series depend on unity, harmony and cohesion in the team.

Qadir also said that Misbah's men should at their batting, bowling, fielding and mental best against South Africa, adding that if Pakistan enjoy an edge in their spin department, their opponents are better equipped in pace attack and has an experience batting line-up.
