Look like Bollywood's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar has taken some inspiration from heartthrob Hrithik Roshan to promote his upcoming movie 'Rustom', as he has used Hrithik's 'Bang Bang Dare' idea to promote his film.

'Bang Bang Dare' was a unique promotion strategy spearheaded by Roshan to promote his 2014 action movie 'Bang Bang'.

The 'Krish' actor had asked his friends in B-Town to move out from their comfort zones and do some unique tasks via his 'Bang Bang Dare' challenge which they all were super excited about too. Celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra & Shraddha Kapoor were challenged by Hrithik and were dared to do various tasks, for which they readily agreed.

Now, Akki is using a similar strategy, wherein with the help of his colleagues, he is leaving no stone unturned to create buzz about his upcoming release.

Starring Ileana D'Cruz in lead role, the movie, which is based the real life incident of Naval Officer K.M. Nanavati, would hit the theatres on August 12.
