Janata Dal United leader Ali Anwar on Monday said that the Congress party has suffered such a bad defeat that there are bound to be comments and added that they cannot suspend every Congress member who is critical of the party.
"Congress has met with such a defeat there are bound to be comments. How many people will they suspend? They cannot suspend every Congress member who is critical of the party," said Anwar.
Yesterday, Rajasthan MLA Bhanwar Lal Sharma was suspended from the party, a day after he dubbed Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi as a 'MD of a team of jokers'.
Sharma had also called Gandhi directionless and surrounded by advisers who lack political understanding.
