'Allo 'Allo!' creator Jeremy Lloyd has passed away at the age of 84 in a London hospital on after suffering from pneumonia.
Lloyd's agent Alexandra Cann said that Lloyd was a great wit and always a mass of original ideas and he had a wonderfully original mind and will be greatly missed, Sky News reported.
The Brit screenwriter was known for his comic sitcoms including 'Are You Being Served?'
Lloyd was married three times including to Joanna Lumley, created a string of hit shows with his writing partner David Croft.
'Allo 'Allo!', starring Francesca Gonshaw, Gordon Kaye and Vicki Michelle, ran for over a decade from 1982.
