The 2001 romance drama 'Gadar
Sharing the movie's poster, the 40-year-old actress tweeted, "Thank u .. 15 years of GADAR n still the biggest blockbuster of the millenium.. Thank u to all my tweethearts."
The hashtag #15 Years Of GADAR has been trending on the social media to mark the event.
Celebrating it, one user wrote, "@ameesha_patel no movie had n no movie wl ever touch d figures of gadar ..its a cult film wth brilliant performances @IAMSUNNYDEOL."
Set in 1947, during the Partition of India, the film narrated the story of a truck driver, (Sunny Deol), a Jatt Sikh, who falls in love with a Muslim girl, Sakina (Amisha Patel), belonging to an aristocratic family.
Directed by Anil Sharma, the movie was a blockbuster at the Box Office.
