Amitabh Bachchan has expressed his gratitude to Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain for inviting him to visit Pakistan.
The 'Bhootnath' actor replied to the invitation and shared the fond memories he has of Pakistani people, recalling the prayers that they extended to him during his injury on the sets of Coolie in 1983, the Express Tribune reported.
Hussain had mentioned in the invitation that Bachchan's visit would also promote peace between the two countries and allow him to explore his maternal ancestral roots.
