Making the announcement on Twitter, the 43-year-old filmmaker posted, "You can never meet with the demands of the heart....our journey begins today... #AeDilHaiMushkil"
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actress tweeted, "Sooo today we start filming #AeDilHaiMushkil in london.Butterflies attacking.Excitement rolling.Send me your love & wish me luck guys!!"
The film which also star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has a storyline based on relationships and heartbreaks and is scheduled to be released on Diwali next year.
