Arms seized in Mizoram
A huge quantity of arms and ammunitions were seized during a joint operation by the Mizoram Police and Border Security Forces.
5 people from Chakma tribe, including two from Bangladesh were apprehended during search operation of a vehicle on the airport road.
According to sources, Mizoram is being used as an arms-smuggling route to traffic guns and weapons purchased from Myanmar and China.
