Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh recently inaugurated the pilot phase of the Manipur Go Live Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System (CCTNS) in Imphal.

Several police stations in the city have been automated under the project.

CCTNS is a mission mode project under the National E-Governance Plan of the Government of India. It aims at creating a comprehensive and integrated system for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the police.

It will also improve delivery of citizen-centric services and assist senior police officers in better management of the police force.
