Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif, has said his battle hardened force is fully prepared to fight the entire spectrum of threat facing the country.
Urging troops to be focussed on their professional obligations and to be ready to defend the motherland, General Sharif, who was visiting the Siachin Glacier, said the army must not hesitate to render any sacrifices for the defence of Pakistan.
A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), and reported by the Dawn, said General Sharif also laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada (martyrs) Monument at Gayari and paid tribute to all those valiant officers and soldiers, who laid their lives in defence of the country.
