Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who was shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on 28th September, from Max Hospital in Saket, was discharged today.
Mr. Jaitley was shifted last month to a special isolation facility at AIIMS after doctors advised that he needed a few more days of rest to recover completely from a respiratory infection.
Doctors had then said that though he had recovered satisfactorily from the respiratory infection, he was advised further rest for a few more days to avoid any re-occurrence of the infection.
Earlier he was re-admitted to the Max Hospital in Saket for a routine check-up, following a recent operation for diabetes management.
He had earlier successfully undergone a planned elective laparoscopic procedure for diabetes management.
