German winger Thomas Mueller has confirmed reports that he was in Barcelona recently, but denied that he had anything to do with transfer negotiations with the club.
According to Sport24, with a Bayern contract until 2017, Mueller has said he is happy in Munich.
The 24-year-old scored twice in Bayern Munich's 4-1 win over Mainz 05 on Saturday to stay top of the Bundesliga and has been a regular in the Germany team since 2010, the report said.
He said that he did not just sign the contract at Bayern to sit it out but because it was fun to play there, adding that everyone who knew him, also knew that Bayern was his home.
Bayern coach Pep Guardiola also dismissed any talk of Mueller's departure, the report added.
He said that he was 100 percent convinced that the winger would stay and there was no chance that he would leave.
