Beckhams set to give 'American' makeover to London pad

David and Victoria Beckham are trying to give their new West London mansion a US-themed makeover to stop their kids from feeling homesick.

The 38-year-old football ace and his 39-year-old fashion designer wife, who recently sold their Hertfordshire pad, have hired interior designer Kelly Hoppen to give their new home a makeover to help their children settle down, the Daily Star reported.

The Beckhams, who are extremely conscious of how homesick the kids have been, are hoping to buy a four-storey townhouse in the capital and have hired Hoppen on an "unlimited budget" to decorate their sons' rooms according to their own tastes.

Sources revealed that they are hoping that this move will help in giving the boys a new start in England and help them feel at home.

Sources added that the family has been staying in their country mansion since returning from the US after Beckham's football contract with 'LA Galaxy' came to an end.
