Benedict Cumberbatch will voice Sher Khan in one of the two Jungle Book films that will be directed by Andy Serkis, it has been revealed.
The 'Sherlock' star is the first voice actor to be cast in the Warner Bros movie, the BBC reported.
Cumberbatch's soothing tones will be also heard the third Hobbit film where he will lend his voice to the fiery dragon Smaug.
Idris Elba will voice Sher Khan in another adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's stories which would be a combination of live action and animation from the Disney studio.
