Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh has said that former Delhi law minister Somnath Bharti should court arrest to avoid further embarrassment to his family and the party.
"His attempt to evade his arrest doesn't give a good impression, and will weaken his case as well. If he is innocent, he must appear before the police with all evidence. As his bail plea was rejected, Bharti should court arrest, and present his side of the case before the police effectively," said Singh.
Singh's reaction came hours after the Supreme Court asked the absconding AAP MLA to surrender first and then seek relief.
