A meeting of the BJP core committee will be held at party chief Amit Shah's residence here on Monday, during which a decision is likely to be taken on the candidates to be fielded for the first two phases of the Bihar Assembly polls.
Meanwhile, Shah is holding parleys with Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi, who is said to be upset over the number of seats he has been offered for the assembly polls so far.
Manjhi, who had initially agreed to go with Shah's efforts to settle the seat-sharing, is now reportedly looking for more than 15 seats.
Polls for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases starting on October 12 and ending on November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
