A woman Maoist was killed and seven others reportedly injured in an encounter with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Sondaha village of Bihar's Gaya district on Sunday.

The team fired back," said CRPF IG Arun Kumar.
"One woman naxalite was killed in the encounter. She was found carrying an INSAS rifle and a tiffin bomb which exploded there itself , and quite a few food items. Four to seven people have been reported to be injured," he added.
