Bitcoin breaks $1.2K mark on trading exchange

Bitcoin have broken through the 1,200 dollars mark last week on the trading exchange Mt. Gox.

The digital-only currency rose as high as 1,240 dollars on Mt. Gox on Friday.

According to the New York Post, Bitcoin pushed above 900 dollars for the first time after a Senate hearing on virtual currencies.

Bitcoin traded around 13 dollars at the beginning of this year.
