BITS Pilani's International startup conclave entered into its grand finale of the eleventh edition. The conclave, which is sponsored by DCB Bank, CitrusPay and Accel Partners, brings India's finest budding startups to compete with each other.
Talking about the startup challenge, Srikanth Garimella, the Chief Executive Officer of Conquest 2015, said, "We feel proud and reinvented with the ideas at Conquest while also providing the startups with a perfect launchpad."
Top 50 startups are selected amongst 1400 registrations after a month's careful evaluation. Among the 1400, 50 were shortlisted to attend the networking sessions in three major cities in the country like New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.
Mentors from various groups such as CupoNation, Practo, Investopad, OYO Rooms were present to help the start up meet their way. Apart from mentoring and IP filing support, the mentors also advised the candidates regarding fundraising, revenue modeling, hiring, branding and marketing.
The top 10 finalists were shortlisted by the jury members to be a part of the finale. The grand finale
was indeed a star studded affair with the biggest names in the world of startups turning up for the mega event.
