Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 11.96 points down to stand at 25,610.21. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 1.20 points up to stand at 7,789.30.
Amtek Auto Ltd and IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 49.34%and 7.14% along with GATI Ltd and Jet Airways (India) Ltd with an increase of 6.07% and 5.35% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Cox & Kings Limited and Sunrise Asian Limited with a decrease of 5.13% and 5.00% along with Monsanto India Ltd and PMC Fincorp Limited with a decrease of 4.83% and 4.73%at the close of the markets.
The Auto sector is down 50.82 points at 17,647.98 while the Banking sector is up 0.30 points at 18,994.04 and the Realty sector is up 9.39points at 1,288.86. The Indian currency is up at 0.12% at Rs 66.51per dollar.
