BJP fields V.K. Singh from Ghaziabad for LS polls
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday fielded ex-Army chief General V.K. Singh from the Ghaziabad constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The ex-Army chief will taking on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Shazia Ilmi and Congress candidate Raj Babbar.
V.K. Singh, who was also associated with veteran anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare, had formally joined the BJP on March 1.
