The Big Bash League's new broadcaster, Network Ten, has recruited Ian Botham to its commentary team for the Twenty20 tournament this summer, further adding to its star profile.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the legendary England all-rounder is here working on the Ashes for Britain's Sky Sports and is set to join a big-name list secured by Ten that includes Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, West Indian great Viv Richards and Mark Waugh.
Botham had also recently claimed that Australia suffers from leadership problems in its young cricketers.
Cricket Australia has now promised for new programs aimed at promoting budding captains.
