Cricket commentator David Lloyd has suggested that England should drop Jonathan Trott and bring in Ben Stokes for the second Ashes Test in Adelaide.
According to the Mirror, Lloyd also believes England should employ a second spinner on what is likely to be a flat wicket in Adelaide.
Trott scored just 19 runs in his two innings at the Gabba, the report said.
Lloyd said that Root batted well, so he could bat at No. 3, with Trott missing out and Ben Stokes in at six.
He added that a second spinner could play instead of Chris Tremlett on what is set to be a flat Adelaide wicket and they would still have three seamers.
