West Indies off-spinner Kraigg Brathwaite has been allowed to resume bowling in the international cricket after he was cleared of a suspected illegal bowling action by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The news comes following an independent assessment was performed at the Loughborough testing centre in England on August 31.
At the assessment, the amount of elbow extension in all of Brathwaite's deliveries was well within the 15-degree level of tolerance permitted under the ICC regulations.
Brathwaite was reported for a suspect bowling action at the end of West Indies' first Test against England played at Edgbaston from August 17 to August 19.
The 24-year-old has notched up a total of 12 wickets in his 40-match Test career.
However, he is more importantly known for his role at the top of the order, having amassed 2,598 runs at an average of 36.59, including six centuries and a best of 212.
