The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Wednesday approved delinking Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) from parent company and turn it into independent Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE).
Briefing the media in the national capital, Power and Coal Minister Piyush Goyal said the CCEA also gave its nod to increase Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Milling Copra and Ball Copra for 2016 season.
"MSP of Milling Copra has been raised by Rs. 400 over the last year, MSP at Rs. 5950 per quintal, whereas MSP for Ball Copra has been increased by Rs. 410 to Rs. 6240 per quintal. Increased MSP of Copra will help in setting up investment in Coconut cultivation and productivity," he said.
