Actor Dhanush took to Twitter to announce that his production house is coming up with the Superstar's next film, which is to be directed by Pa.Ranjith.
"I'm so proud and honoured to announce our production's next film #WunderbarFilms," he posted, along with a teaser video.
The Thalaiva is currently busy filming for '2.o' and is expected to start working on this project next year.
Fans overwhelmed by the unexpected announcement by the 'Raanjhanaa' star began reacting immediately, with the tweet receiving as many as 10,000 likes and over 5,800 retweets.
This announcement raises fans' hopes for a 'Kabali' sequel.
Rajinikanth's 'Kabali,' directed by Pa.Ranjith, was released on July 22.
