The cast ensemble for 'Cats' movie adaptation is confirmed.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the star cast will include Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson along with James Corden.
The story revolves around a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.
Directed by Tom Hooper, the movie is based on Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical which is originally based on writer T.S. Eliot's novel 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats'.
The production of the movie will start later this year with the rest of the cast which is yet to be announced.
The release date of the movie has not been announced yet.
