Expressing concern over the killing of the two children of a Dalit family in Haryana's Faridabad District, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday sought a report from the state administration.
The Union Home Minister asked Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Khattar to ensure security to everyone and prevent any recurrence of such incident.
In a suspected inter-caste violence, two children of a Dalit family were killed while their parents received serious burn injuries after their house was set afire early today in Sunped village in Faridabad.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Bhupendra Kumar said necessary actions were taken to nab the accused.
The police have launched a hunt to nab the accused and a case has been registered under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
