The casting of a new male lead in the upcoming erotic romance, 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' is going to be finalized in the next few weeks, it has been revealed.

Speculations are rife about the actor who would be stepping into the shoes of Christian Grey, Metro.co.uk reported.

According to new reports, NBC-Universal is apparently close to striking a deal with Hunnam's replacement.

Hunnam reportedly departed from the film, following some creative differences with the scriptwriter Kelly Marcel and director Sam Taylor-Johnson over the screenplay.

However, the film bosses said that Hunnam's hectic TV schedule made him leave the project.
