Tennis player Chris Evert's father Jimmy Evert has passed away in Florida on August 21. He was 91.
Sources close to the well-known tennis coach, who also served as the tennis director for 49 years at the Holiday Park courts in Ft. Lauderdale, revealed that he died a natural death, reported People magazine.
Mourning over her father's death, the 60-year-old tennis player posted a touching photo of herself and Evert on the court on twitter.
She captioned the picture, "It's an honor and a blessing to have been your daughter. You will be in my heart forever, RIP Dad... XO"
Evert is survived by his 62-year-old wife Collete and his four children.
