Reigning Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton secured his 10th pole position of the season by defeating team mate Nico Rosberg in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix on Saturday.
Hamilton was 0.458seconds ahead of his Mercedes team mate Rosberg, who topped both Friday practice sessions.
Valtteri Bottas of Williams finished third, ahead of Romain Grosjean's Lotus, who has a five-place grid penalty, the BBC reported.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, who won the last race in Hungary, finished the race as the ninth fastest driver.
Currently, Hamilton leads the Drivers' Championship points by 21 points.
