Christina Aguilera's return to 'The Voice' Season 8 has reportedly caused a "rift," as some staffers don't want Gwen Stefani to go from the show.
A source said that when Stefani took over during the 33-year-old singer's maternity leave, she instantly became a favorite and bonded with the others, as she injected energy and humor onto the panel, New York Post reported.
The source added that Stefani was hoping to stay and it's become a point of contention with everyone on the show.
However, another source said that bringing Aguilera back was always the plan and Stefani, who is making her first solo album since 2006 with Williams, has her own career to attend to.
The insider added that whenever there's a change in coaches, there are rumors of drama and that Stefani, who is always welcome, hopefully will be back.
