England coach Peter Moores believes that the decision to remove Alastair Cook as one-day captain has strengthened his side, while backing new skipper Eoin Morgan as a perfect guy to lead in the upcoming World Cup.
Moores said that they had got to a position where it felt like it was the right thing to do, adding that it was a brave decision to change it, Sport24 reported.
He further said that they had got the right people, adding that they would go there with a strong ambition to go and win a World Cup, the report added.
Backing Eoin Morgan, he added that he would be desperately keen to make sure that he fires as captain and certainly would be up for the challenge.
