A Dornier aircraft of the Indian Coast Guard, which took off from Chennai airport on Monday evening with three personnel onboard, went missing shortly after it took off.
According to reports, the aircraft took off at 6:30 p.m. yesterday from Chennai and was supposed to land in Pondicherry.
Indian Navy and Coast Guard have launched full scale search and rescue operations to look for the aircraft.
