Taking a jibe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and People's Democratic Party (PDP) government in the state, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Monday alleged that the 'agenda of alliance' is rubbing salt on the wounds of the people who witnessed one the worst floods the region has ever faced.

"Whether there're issues within the 'agenda of alliance', or outside of it, it has been a systematic series of U-turns from Day. This was a PDP-BJP that was formed with a promise of assistance to the flood victims of last year's horrific floods. People are screaming for relief but salt is being rubbed on their wounds when they are being handed meagre cheques of Rs 37," Abdullah said while addressing a press conference.

The National Conference chief also took to twitter to criticise the PDP chief Mufti Mohammad Sayeed upon completing 100 days of governance.

"The resounding silence from Mufti Syed and his allies upon completing 100 days in office today speaks volumes for their achievements," he posted on twitter.
