Confident Rohit seeks to continue run-scoring form at Gabba

Indian opener Rohit Sharma admitted that he has to continue his run-scoring spree in order to get his side to a good position in the second ODI of the series against Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane on Friday.

Rohit smashed 13 boundaries and seven sixes in his unbeaten knock of 171 to push India to 309-3 in the opening ODI against Australia in Perth.

Talking about his performance, Rohit stressed that it was important for the batsman who is set to bat as much as possible in order to provide his side with a competitive score, News.com.au reported.
