Pakistan Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq is confident that his side would put up a determined performance in the upcoming Test series against England, starting in July.

Admitting that the upcoming challenge would not be easy, Misbah, however, expressed hope that Pakistan would manage to maintain their third position in the ICC Test rankings.

The 42-year-old believes his players would surely perform well in the upcoming series if they manage to keep their determination intact, the Express tribune reported.

Pakistan, which has always been producing great bowlers, would once again rely on them to be on the forefront in the seaming England conditions.

However, the Pakistan Test skipper has called on his batsmen to put up a good show and assist their bowlers if they have to emerge out as winners in the upcoming series.

The upcoming series between the two sides will also mark the Test return of Pakistan fast- bowler Mohammad Amir at the Lord's, where he was caught in a spot-fixing scandal in 2010 along with the then-captain Salman Butt and fellow bowler Mohammad Asif.

Reflecting on the same, Misbah believes it is a great opportunity for the left armer to earn back his lost pride by performing well for the country.

Pakistan will tour England for a four-match Test series starting from July 14 at the Lord's, after which the two teams will play five-ODIs and a T20I.
