The experts, who are accompanying them, will be rewarded with Rs. four lakh, Rs. three lakh, Rs. two lakh and Rs. one lakh respectively," Pradhan told media here.
He added that for the first time, the competition has been associated with cash prize, and it is a step to motivate the children.
"They (participants) will definitely raise India's name in Abu Dhabi and this will be a big step forward in their career," the Union Minister said.
A 28-member team will represent India in 26 trades in the 44th edition of the world's greatest skills competition.
The event is scheduled from October 14 to October 19.
