In a gruesome incident, a minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by three youth in Uttar Pradesh's Budaun on Tuesday.
The police have arrested one culprit and a case has been registered in this regard.
The victim, a student of IX, was returning home from tuition on October 3 when three boys caught her on the way and later assaulted her.
The police then filed a report against the three accused on the victim's appeal.
"A case has been registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further operation to nab the other two culprits is underway," Assistant Superintendent of Police, Surendra Pratap Singh told media here.
