Leonardo DiCaprio has dispelled the rumours that he was fatally injured in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.
Celebrity gossip website Media Fetcher had earlier reported that the 39-year-old actor was such a novice on the slopes that he lost control of his snowboard at the luxury Zermatt ski resort and hit a tree at neck-breaking speed, Daily Star reported.
The site also managed to convince fan that after the crash DiCaprio was rushed to a medical centre via an air ambulance.
The site then said that he was killed by the impact of the crash.
This is the second time that DiCaprio has been targeted with the earlier prank being played on him in April 2009.
