'Big Love' star Douglas Smith has signed on to star in 'Terminator
While the 29-year-old actor's character in the Paramount Pictures 'tyrannical machines' film, which is being helmed by Alan Taylor, is still under wraps, he would be taking up the role of a college boy named Evan White in the latter.
The vengeance seeking film 'Evan's Crime' is scripted and would be directed by Sandy Tung, the Deadline.com reported.
Meanwhile, the filming for 'Terminator: Genesis', which stars 'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, and Arnold Schwarzenegger in his iconic Terminator role, is currently going on in New Orleans.
