Ellen Page has revealed that she is gay while presenting a speech at the Time to THRIVE conference in Las Vegas on Friday.
In an impassioned and extremely brave speech the 26-year-old actress explained her motivation in coming out of the closet.
The conference was held in Bally's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and the event was intended to promote the welfare of LGBT youth, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Page expressed her admiration for the organisation and the people involved in the Human Right's event.
