An encounter is underway between the army and suspected ULFA terrorists at Pengri in Assam's Tinsukia district, Director General of Assam Police Mukesh Sahay told ANI on Saturday.
The army cordoned off the jungle in Pengri and launched an encounter at 5.30 a.m.
No casualty or injury was reported in the exchange of fire till the time of filing this report.
