England have recalled James Anderson, Ben Stokes and Adil Rashid in an expanded 14-man squad for the second Test match against Pakistan at Old Trafford, which begins from Friday.
Pace spearhead Anderson and all-rounder Stokes returned to the squad after recovering from their respective injuries while Rashid is added as a second spin option, with the first being all-rounder Moeen Ali.
Despite averaging 18.66 with the bat after four Tests, James Vince has been retained while Middlesex seamer Toby Roland-Jones was dropped after being called into the squad for the opening Test in the absence of Anderson and Stokes, ESPNcricinfo reported.
England are trailing 1-0 in the four-match series after losing the opening Test match by 75 runs at Lord's on Sunday.
