Fighter Tony Bellew has been offered a role in upcoming Rocky spin-off project 'Creed.'
The 31-year-old boxing champ, who won his grudge rematch with Welsh star Nathan -Cleverly, had been contacted by Sylvester Stallone's representatives earlier in 2014 and would soon be flying to Hollywood to seal the deal, the Mirror reported.
Bellew would be playing the role of fighter Pretty Ricky Porter, who fights the grandson of Apollo Creed, whose mentor is Rocky.
The boxer said he couldn't believe when he got a call with a guy saying Stallone wanted to speak to him, and told the guy to "f*** off," threatening to beat him up when called again.
He added even though when the meeting was arranged, he thought it was a wind-up and expected someone to jump out and say "Ha, fooled you!".
