Fire breaks out in timber factory in Ludhiana

A fire broke out in a timber factory on the outskirts of Ludhiana on Friday.

At least 40 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.

Bhupinder Singh, a fire brigade official, said there has been huge loss to property.

"Forty fire tenders have arrived at the site. Ten more fire tenders are expected to arrive. There is huge loss of property, but no casualty has been reported. The reason of fire and losses can be confirmed after the investigation," he said.

No casualties have been reported so far.
