A five-day cultural festival organized jointly by the J-K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and the North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Patiala, is going on these days in different parts of the Kashmir valley.
The festival consists of music programs and poetic symposium featuring renowned music artists from Kashmir and other states.
Professor Rajindar Singh Gill, Director, NZCC said, "The main aim of holding this music festival is to highlight the traditional songs of each region and after Kashmir other northern states will also host this festival."
The main purpose of the programme was to promote the culture and traditions aimed to attract tourists and aware future generation regarding rich past of Kashmir.
