CRPF IG Dr. N. C. Asthana, 1986-batch IPS officer of Kerala cadre, has been promoted as (KL:86), IG, CRPF as ADG, CRPF.
BSF IG Kamal Nayan Choubey, 1986-batch IPS officer of Jharkhand cared, has been appointed as ADG, Border Security Force (BSF).
The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of IPS officers presently working as Inspectors General to the Post of Additional Directors General against the existing vacancy.
